Fundraising To Support The Nepal Earthquake Appeal

Some children have expressed a desire to raise funds for those left homeless after the recent earthquake in Nepal. We have decided to organise a Bun Sale for Friday 8th May. Could each family please provide 1 dozen buns and these will be sold on that day at Break time for 20p each. Children may buy extra buns to take home as well. All proceeds will go to this very worthwhile cause.

Some people have been donating clothes for a proposed “Clothes Swap” but we have not got the amount we would have needed to run a successful event. It has been suggested that these clothes are exchanged for cash and this then could be donated to the earthquake appeal as well. If you wish to have your clothes back rather than weighed please contact Valerie McNeill, Susan Mairs or the school office before Wednesday 6th May.
